Anna Richards: ACPAT Cat A, Post-graduate Diploma Vet Physio, BSc (Hons) Physio, MCSP, HCPC

Anna qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Liverpool in 2004 and has since then worked within the NHS in varying roles in both the acute and community setting, treating a wide variety of conditions. She gained her post-graduate diploma in veterinary physiotherapy from Hartpury College (UWE) and has since also been working in a canine rehabilitation and hydrotherapy centre in Berkshire where she has developed specialised skills required for effective rehabilitation and management of canines, treating common conditions such as post-operative orthopaedic and neurological surgery, sports injuries and osteoarthritis.

Anna is a huge dog lover and focusses all her time and attention on learning and developing new skills so that the treatment she provides is as effective as possible, recognising that every dog is an individual and has different needs. She likes to use a wide variety of treatment approaches to optimise function and is excited to work as part of the team at Chapel Farm and all the facilities it offers.

Anna is a local girl and grew up in North Somerset. Outside of work, she spends most of her time trying to keep her excitable Airedale Terrier Rosie out of mischief, along with playing drums in a Samba Reggae band based in Bristol, both aspects being noisy and energetic!
