Emily Jones: ACPAT cat A
After qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2014, Emily worked in a number of different areas across the NHS before specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, which she still continues on a part-time basis.
Emily believes that animals can benefit from physiotherapy interventions in much the same way as people do. Also, a qualified animal physiotherapist holding a PGDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Hartpury College. The other half of Emily’s time is spent treating dogs and horses across the South West area with a particular interest in the management of orthopaedic conditions and is due to complete a masters research project in 2019.
At home, there is a rescue Jack Russell called Bourbon and Leopard Gecko, Audrey who keep her on her toes! In her spare time, she enjoys a lifelong hobby of horse riding and baking (& eating) banana cake!
